This is the poster I designed to advertise for actors and actresses who will potentially star in our trailer.
I decided to keep the design relatively simplistic so information can easily be extracted by those who are interested; I also used a directors cut board as the background image to help the poster stand out and clearly indicate that the text will be related to film. I incorporated images of blood to draw attention to the poster as it helps it stand out, and also due to the fact that the trailer we produce will be that of the horror genre. I constructed the text based on what an amateur actor would expect to be seeing from this type of advertisement.
The main place which we will be advertising through the use of this poster is around our schools Sixth Form building. Ideally, the cast of our horror trailer will be people we know from school as this will help us with scheduling and locations as it will be easy for us to get in contact with them should any problems arise.
